Hello! Today we will compare the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro Max.


The smartphones are almost identical in appearance. Both have a similar design. The front of the case is covered by a rounded glass panel. Xiaomi has slightly modernized the look of its new Redmi Note series. The rear cameras are decorated in a new way.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro Max are almost the same size. They are slightly different in height. Both smartphones have a large bright cinematic touch screen. The screen Type is the IPS LCD with wide viewing angles. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro Max work on Android 10.0, the MIUI 11 shell. The system supports the gesture control mode, split-screen, dynamic wallpapers that change according to the time of day, and the dark mode. The “z-axis motor” vibration motor is installed. It supports 150 different actions in MIUI, including scrolling, SMS, printing and other functions.


Both smartphones have a rear quad camera. The smartphone takes beautiful landscapes, panoramic shots. Night mode allows you to create clear photos with a high degree of detail in the dark. The macro module creates clear, close-up shots. The colors of the photos are natural.

The resolution of the front camera of the Redmi Note 9 Pro is 16 megapixels. It supports the AL-mode of beautification, so the camera is able to take good selfies and blur the background. Color rendering is natural.

The Note 9 Pro Max smartphone received a rear quad camera with a 64 megapixel main camera lens and aperture f / 1.89. The parameters of the remaining three modules are the same as those used in the Note 9 Pro.

Both smartphones support all the necessary communication standards. There is Wi-Fi of 2.4 GHz, nad 5 GHz, Bluetooth version 5.0 for data transfer and GPS. Both smartphones have the NFC module.


The excellent performance of both smartphones is supported by a powerful non-removable battery. Its capacity is 5020 mAh. The manufacturer says that you can play games for up to 14 hours. Both smartphones have a quick charge function. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has 18 watts, while the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro Max has 33 watts. The phone can be charged for 50% in half an hour.
