The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite is 8.1 millimeter thick. Its weight is 186 grams. The smartphone is quite large and it can be difficult to control it with one hand. But the Galaxy S10 Lite has a huge screen. It’s convenient to watch videos and read books with it. There is a built-in fingerprint scanner and a small hole in the upper part of the display in which the front camera is located. Comparing to the smartphones with a drop-shaped neckline or bangs, this cutout looks rather unusual, but you quickly get used to it and eventually just stop noticing the hole. As for the location of other elements on the case, there is a combined slot for 2 Nano-format SIM cards on the left side of the smartphone. You can install a memory card instead one of them. The power and volume buttons are located on the right side. There is a microphone on top of the phoone. Below there is another microphone, speaker and USB-C connector. There is no 3.5 millimeter audio jack in the Galaxy S10 Lite. This would be okay if the smartphone had protection against water, but unfortunately, it doesn’t have it.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite is slightly larger than its rival. It is 8.7 millimeter thick and it weighs 199 grams. Like the Galaxy S10 Lite, there is a large screen with a hole for the front camera and a built-in fingerprint scanner. The power and volume buttons are also located on the right. The slot for two Nano SIM cards and a memory card is on the left. Unlike the opponent, it is not combined, so it supports the simultaneous operation of two SIM cards and a memory card. At the top there is a microphone. A speaker, an audio jack of 3.5 millimeter, another microphone and a USB-C connector are located below. In addition, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite has an S Pen, which is tucked away in a special slot on the bottom. Thanks to the S Pen, users can take notes and screenshots, write text directly on the screen, select words, and then send them to the translator, and much more. If desired, you can control the smartphone with your fingers.

The back cover of the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite is plastic, with imitation under the glass. It has a large rectangular block with cameras, a flash and an inscription informing that the smartphone has optical stabilization. There is a black, blue and mother-of-pearl version of the Galaxy S10 Lite on sale.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite’s back cover is also made of plastic imitating glass. Like the opponent, the camera block with the flash is rectangular, but not so large in size. As for colors, black, red and gray with a gradient effect version of the smartphone are available.


The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen. Its resolution is 1080 by 2400 pixels, and the aspect ratio is 20 to 9. The display itself is bright, the colors are saturated. Thanks to the use of HDR10+ technology, it was possible to increase the contrast and color palette. In bright sunlight, text and images from it are visible very well. Of course, there is the Always on Display function and many useful settings that allow you to adjust the screen for yourself.

The screen of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite is practically no different from the screen of the opponent. The diagonal is 6.7 inches, the matrix is ​​Super AMOLED, the aspect ratio is 20 to 9, and the resolution is 1080 by 2400 pixels. The smartphone screen is very bright with good color reproduction. There is a huge number of settings, among which there is a blue filter, a dark theme, white balance and Always on Display feature. But, unlike the Galaxy S10 Lite, there is no support for HDR10 + technology.


Both smartphones received the new Android 10 operating system with an updated proprietary shell One UI 2.0. Compared to its predecessor, this shell received minor changes. The fonts have become better, icons have changed a bit, problems with signatures in Russian have disappeared, the notification bar and settings menu have slightly changed. After the video is recorded, you can use the built-in video editor with many functions. The front camera of the smartphone is 32 megapixels. It also has a “Live Focus” mode, which allows you to blur the background both during and after the shooting.

The capabilities of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite cameras are not as impressive as those of its rival, but you can also take good pictures and videos on this smartphone. All three lenses of the Galaxy Note 10 Lite are on the back. There is the main, super wide angle and 12 megapixel telephoto lenses. The viewing angle of the ultra-wide-angle module is 123 degrees, and the telephoto lens provides high-quality 2x optical zoom. The artificial intelligence of the camera selects the optimal settings depending on the plot and simultaneously “draws” the picture, adding saturation. There is an HDR mode that is automatically activated by default, depending on the lighting conditions. In general, the shooting quality on the Galaxy Note10 Lite is good both day and night. In low light conditions, the smartphone is assisted by a special night mode. Video can be shot in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second, but without stabilization. It appears when changing resolution to Full HD with a frequency of 30 frames per second stabilization. In addition, the smartphone has a time-lapse function with a frequency of 960 frames per second and a built-in video editor. The front camera of the Samsung Galaxy Note10 Lite received a sensor with a resolution of 32 megapixels with many settings for creating beautiful self-shots. In addition, the smartphone has the ability to take pictures by pressing the button on the pen S Pen.


The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite has a powerful 8-core Snapdragon 855 processor and Adreno 640 graphics accelerator. According to AnTuTu Benchmark, the smartphone is gaining 390 thousand points. The smartphone is available in a version with only 128 GB of internal memory. If desired, you can install a memory card up to 1 TB. The amount of RAM can be 6 or 8 GB.


In terms of communication capabilities, there are no differences between the Galaxy S10 Lite and the Galaxy Note 10 Lite. Both smartphones support dual-band Wi-Fi, including the ACC standard. The devices use Bluetooth version 5.0 and there is an NFC module for making contactless payment.

As for the fast charging technology, unlike the rival, the Galaxy Note 10 Lite has a 25-watt power adapter, which allows you to fully charge the smartphone in an hour.
